Our goal is to help you have the sensation of being a Native, fulfilling the peculiar and necessary daily activities of the Amazon region inhabitant.
Day 1
We will leave by speed boat from Tropical Hotel pier or “Marina do David” ( David’s Harbour ) towards JAGUAR Support Base. Right after making the security recommendations, we will start trekking through the trails chosen by our instructors, usually a crew from 3 to 4 people according to needs and always based on the number of participants.
During our Jungle Trekks, we will have several stops to explain about natural resources and jungle plants, jungle survival orientations, and general rules, such as how to build traps with automated animal capture systems, how to make a fire in adverse situations, shelter building rules, how to climb a tree using a “PECONHA” and showing how to make it, among other important information.
We will enjoy a delicious barbecue in the jungle (Chicken, Fish, Meat, Pepperoni - according to customer preference, previously checked) + rice, flour, lemon. We will try to catch the terrific Piranha today!
Sleeping in the jungle is such a wonderful experience you will never forget !!! Overnight in hammocks with mosquito nets tied between the trees. Nature's sounds are compared to a sleeping song.
Day 2
On the second day, we will enjoy a rustic breakfast: Coffee, milk, toast, crackers, before we start dismounting our camp and take the returning trekk. We will cook lunch with our clients' help in order to practice the previous day's learning. Then we will return to the JAGUAR Speedboat and begin our return trip to Tropical Pier / David's Harbour.
