The M/V Desafio Maguari Cruise takes you on a 4 day Amazon Cruise, on the waters of Rio Negro, departing from Manaus and visiting some of the most impressive spots in the Amazon Region, such as the Arquipelago Anavilhanas (the biggest river archipelago on earth) and the famous Meeting Of The Waters, where the dark waters of Rio Negro flow along the yellow waters of Rio Solimôes kilometers long without mixing, forming the Amazon River


The Itinerary


Day 1.
ANAVILHANAS

Departure from the Manaus dock aboard the M/V Desafio at 2 PM, your floating hotel for
the next three nights. Once on board, a welcome drink and a cold lunch will be
served while the guide provides useful information about the Amazon, the ship,
and program details.

You will begin to sail towards Anavilhanas, the second largest river archipelago in the
world. Dinner on board.

Then, guests can enjoy a pleasant ride in motorized canoes for local reconnaissance,
an opportunity to listen to the sounds of the jungle. (L-D)

Day 2.
ACAJATUBA

Breakfast on board and sailing to the village of Acajatuba. On the way, visit a floating river-station
to interact with pink dolphins and meet the famous Pirarucu fish. Lunch on
board.

In the
afternoon, head out for a fun experience, piranha fishing. Dinner. Canoe ride
for spotting caimans and other nocturnal animals with flashlights. (B-L-D)

Day 3.
JARAQUI

Early in
the morning, departure to admire the sunrise in the jungle and the birds
singing in their habitat. Return on board for breakfast while navigation begins
towards the village of Jaraqui, where we will make an interesting jungle walk
to learn about the flora and fauna. Lunch on board.

Return to
MV Desafio and navigation to the indigenous community of Tatuyos, the visit is
an opportunity to learn about the lifestyle and indigenous habits that are
perpetuated to this day. Dinner on board. (B-L-D)

Day 4.MEETING
OF THE WATERS

After another tropical breakfast, sailing along the Rio Negro towards the Rio
Solimões until we reach the "Meeting of the Waters," where the Negro
and Solimões Rivers unite to form the great Amazon River. Navigation back to
the city of Manaus, arriving at our pier around 11 a.m. (B)
